Valentine’s Day is when you seek to be selfless and give without expectation.  Whether it is something big or small, giving your time, money or love it’s a day to open our hearts and share a simple act of kindness to others.   Thanks to a group of amazing volunteers, child care professionals, donors and most importantly, My Joyful Heart Founder and Executive Director, Diane Carrol, 780 students received a special gift this holiday.  

Bedgear supported My Joyful Heart Charity by donating 493 pillows so that the organization could reach their goal of 1,000 new pillows allowing these children to sleep more comfortably.  My Joyful Heat is a unique charity that provides personalized assistance and encouragement for children in need throughout Chicagoland.  They endeavor to be a positive influence to underprivileged children by remembering them with basic life essentials, school supplies, bedding, clothing, toys and encouragement throughout the year.  By providing these gifts on a regular basis, five times a year, they extend love and hope, making them feel special and letting them know people do care.
