Bedgear Performance Bedding today announced a $40,000 product donation in response to the statewide flooding in South Carolina.   Bedgear is donating pillows and mattress protectors to the Department of Emergency Management who will distribute product to those families impacted by the life-threating flooding and historic rainfall affecting the entire state. More than 40,000 people are without water and about 26,000 are without power. At least 11 damns have failed raging floodwater downstream forcing residents to evacuate, contaminating water supplies and destroying the infrastructure of the state. “We are deeply saddened by the devastation of this historic flooding.  Many of our employees and their relatives have been affected. Our team at Rock Hill came together to quickly respond to the emergency by boxing and delivering 1,000 bedding products to help families in need,” said Mark Bachner, VP of Bedgear Manufacturing. “Our thoughts are with thousands of flood victims that are in need of shelter and disaster relief.
